Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting
Ryan Lanza(20 years old) Shot and killed 26 people this morning at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. At least 20 of the Victims were children at the school.
His mother was a teacher at the school, Ryan opened fire in her classroom first during early morning announcements killing his own mother and every child in her classroom.
It has also been reported but not confirmed that because it was during the morning announcements the shooting was being relayed over the school audio broadcast system, which would have made every child in the school have to hear the screams and cries for help from each victim.
Sometime before going to the school Ryan shot and killed his father in his home in Hoboken, NJ.
It is not yet clear if there are more victims outside of the school.
Ryan entered the school wearing a bullet proof vest and was armed with at least 4 guns, with another one (possibly a rifle) inside his vehicle. It has not yet been released if those weapons were obtained legally or illegally.
